SECURITIZATION required explicitation which infers the the creation of exclusion zones. The yielded translation, which is specific to the context of Lebanon, draws upon the practice of delineating security perimeters in the city (lit. delinating a secure quadrant or zone).
Participants yielded a translation by substituting the term with another in the Arabic language having the same meaning (which occurs when a Source Text word does not exist in the Target Language).
هو مصطلح يستخدم لوصف إجراءات وإنشاءات أمنية تهدف لخلق مناطق استبعاد داخل المدينة. اقترح المشاركون بالورشة الرابعة (بيروت) استخدام هذه الترجمة والتي تتنتسب "المربعات الأمنية" التي انتشرت في لبنان وبيروت خاصة من بعد عام 2005 لحماية مسؤولين سياسيين داخل الأحياء السكنية.
