HOMELESS necessitated explicitation which substituted the common translation (which holds a negative connotation) with a more neutral description of HOMELESSNESS entails.
Technique
Participants yielded a translation by making a lexical change which made the Target Text longer than the Source Text (an explanatory rephrasing of one Source Language term into several words in the Target Language).

هو مصطلح يستخدم لوصف من هم بدون/ بلا مأوى مستدام ، والذي ينتسب اليهم ظاهرة اجتماعية لها ابعاد متعددة تدل على هشاشة او تقلقل مالي لدى نسبة (او شريحة) معينة من المجتمع المدني والتي أجبرتهم ظروف ما على ذلك. اقترح المشاركون بالورشة الثامنة (طنجة) استخدام هذه الترجمة، والتي هي غير متداولة ضمن الحوار المترجم للإعلام الرسمي بهذا الصياغ.
