The yielded translation denotes the subdivision of units into smaller boarding spaces for the specific purpose of 'sleep.'
Participants yielded a translation by making a lexical change which made the Target Text longer than the Source Text (an explanatory rephrasing of one Source Language term into several words in the Target Language).
هو مصطلح يستخدم لوصف مساحات سكنية مستأجرة اشتراكياً من قبل مجموعة من الأشخاص، ومن مصدره في اللغة الفرنسية يحمل دلالة معمارية تشمل مفهوم الدفء والمنزل. يستخدم المصطلح في لبنان لوصف (وللاعلان عن) وحدات سكنية رخيصة نسبياً ، لكن مكتظة بسبب تقسيمات داخلية للشقق السكنية (من قبل ملاكها) تهدف إلى تغليب مردودها المالي على صحة المستأجرين. اقترح المشاركون بالورشة الرابعة (بيروت) استخدام هذه الترجمة والتي هي غير متداولة ضمن الحوار المترجم للإعلام الرسمي، لعلها تسلط الضوء على ظاهرة اجتماعية سلبية أصبحت شائعة في لبنان.
