This workshop engages questions related to urban governance in cities in the Arab region, including official categories, procedures and administrative sub-divisions, as well as alternative modes of urban governance that have emerged as part of the political turmoil over the past decades. The session brings together municipal official and public servants, along with academic, practitioners and urban activists.

This workshop is co-organized by CLUSTER,  is brought to you by HUSSLab, an initiative of the American University in Cairo (AUC) and funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and is supported by Kamel Lazaar Foundation.
