Public space is one of key terms in urban studies and practices having multiple regional Arabic translations. It serves as a locus to unpack a series of related terms, concepts and categories in the emerging critical urban discourse in the Arab region over the past two decades.
This workshop is co-organized by CLUSTER, Studio-X Amman and the Sijal Institute, in partnership with the Center for Spatial Research (CSR) at Columbia University, New York.
