The creative and shared economies have been prevalent terms over the past decade as part of neoliberal policies and discursive practices dominating our cities. This session aims to interrogate some of emerging concepts and categories associated with discourse, and in so doing, challenge their validity and seek alternative definitions and translations.
This workshop is co-organized by CLUSTER and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSS), which is an initiative at the American University in Cairo and funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
